Senior Level .NET Developer


LaGrange, GA


EMS Consultants is seeking a .NET software Engineer.  The ideal candidate will be highly self motivated and be able to work in a very team oriented environment.  He/She will be responsible for all .NET related development, including Front End interface, Back End database and middle tier development.  The ideal candidate will be a strong senior level .NET developer with a combination of Front End and Back End development experience.


§  Utilizes design skills to define Technical Design Specifications for complex and time sensitive projects.

§  Creates and/or modifies code to meet specifications. Tests and debugs work

§  Will be required to contribute to team discussions in a Scrum format.

§  Properly document development progress with project tracking system (TFS)

§  Commitment to quality, including thorough testing of own work products 

§  Perform troubleshooting and supporting production applications

§  Assist other developers with technical solutions

§  Evaluate, identify, and present alternative solution for software requirements


§  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer & Information Science, Management Information Systems, or related field OR Master of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or closely related field. Comparable experience will be considered.

§  Experience in multi-tiered architecture design and breaking out functionality into discrete and reusable components; Understanding of separation of concerns.

§  Any experience in the Health Care Industry is a plus.

§  Experience in fixing application defects through troubleshooting, code changes, documentation etc.

§  Ability to work in a demanding and challenging environment.

§  Displays strong abilities to learn new technologies and acquire new skills through independent study, professional training.

§  Ability to self-direct and to take initiative in defining and completing project deliverables.

§  At least 3+ years’ experience on enterprise applications with the following technologies: .NET framework, C# (Visual Studio) ASP.NET, AJAX, JavaScript, T-SQL (SQL Server), TFS, Distributed Caching.

§  Frameworks: WCF, WPF, EF, Bootstrap

§  Additional Technologies: Use of third party controls i.e. DevExpress, Integration of Ad Hoc Reporting Product i.e. Izenda, Microsoft Sync Framework, MVC,MVVM,  jQuery, WiX- Application Installer Framework, SOA. NoSQL
