What platforms does your software run on? Top ]

-Workstations/Single Users-
This all depends upon which EMS Consultants, Ltd. software you are referring to. For ART, BILLING and COLLECTIONS the following operating systems have been tested: Windows 2000 PRO SP4 and Windows XP PRO SP2. At this time, 98, ME and XP Home Edition is not compatible. For Dispatch, we recommend Windows 2000 Server Standard.

-Servers-
Most servers and network data storage devices work fine. The only requirment is that the network user(s) have full rights to the app and data location. We currently have clients using Windows 2000 Server(All Editions), 2003 Server Standard & Enterprise, Small Business Server, Linux, Unix and Network Storage Devices.


What are your hardware requirements? Top ]

This all depends upon which EMS Consultants, Ltd. software you are referring to. The minimum for most of our products are as follows:

Processer: 500Mhz or higher
RAM: 256MB
Storage: Server 2GB and Workstation 100MB
Modem: 56K
Monitor Resolution: 800x600
Backups: Floppy, Zip, PenDrive or network media. Archiving backups is recommended.
Surge Protection and UPS: Recommend to prevent data corruption
Mouse: PS2 or USB
Keyboard: Standard

What kind of support should I expect? [ Top ]

Here at EMS Consultants, Ltd., you can expect to speak with another human being every time you call. Our software is American Made and is American supported and we are very proud of the support that we can give to our clients. Customer Service is our top priority. You will never speak to voice mail or have to key in for an automated phone system. Every call gets answered by a support technician which is ready to give you their undivided time.

What are your fees for upgrades and support?  [ Top ]

All updates, upgrades and support is covered in our yearly support maintenance fee. THE FIRST YEAR IS FREE!

What kind of training do you provide for your software? [ Top ]

Training is included with the purchase of any of our products. The trainer comes to you (onsite). This allows us to instruct the user(s) on how to use our software with your data and in your enviroment. Additional training days can be purchased at any time for new users or just for a refresher.
